Tongling Bionic's IABP Premieres at China Chest Pain Center Congress

From April 3 to 4, the 15th China Chest Pain Center Congress was held simultaneously at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center. Approximately 3,000 experts and scholars in the cardiovascular field from both China and abroad gathered to discuss equitable access to global acute chest pain treatment and explore cutting-edge technological innovations.

As a provider of full lifecycle integrated solutions for heart failure, Tongling Bionic showcased its latest achievements in mechanical circulatory support at the Hong Kong venue. The company exhibited China's dual first-of-its-kind IABP — the TL-IABP-100 intra-aortic balloon pump and the TL-IAB-30/TL-IAB-40 intra-aortic balloon pump catheter kits — attracting the attention and engagement of many experts.

IABP technology, through precise inflation and deflation of the balloon, increases coronary artery perfusion and reduces cardiac afterload. This technique holds significant clinical value for critically ill patients, such as those with acute myocardial infarction complicated by cardiogenic shock, and aligns precisely with the core objective of chest pain centers: “to minimize total ischemic time.”

Looking ahead, Tongling Bionic will continue to deepen its focus on mechanical circulatory support, accelerate product iteration and upgrades, and contribute to the development of chest pain centers with more accessible, high-quality products.
